This weekend, our students explored the fascinating world of the Ancient Aztecs! 🚀
They mapped the Aztec Empire, identified key landmarks like Lake Texcoco and surrounding mountains, and learned how geography shaped this civilization. 🌍
Through the legend of Huitzilopochtli, they discovered the story behind Mexico’s flag 🇲🇽, explored Aztec pyramids and temples, and learned about the ingenious Chinampas, or “floating gardens.” 🌱
The highlight? Creating an Aztec mosaic art piece—a masterpiece in progress! 🎨
